DIFFERENCES AMONG DENSITY WIGS [180 VS 150, 130, 100 DENSITY WIGS]
I. What Does 180 Density Wig Mean?
180 density wig is a high-density wig created for people who love and want full-volume hair.
180 density wigs are fuller than 100, 130, and 150 density wigs; and heavier than them too. It is also more expensive than 100, 130, and 150 density wigs because it takes more hair strands to make these wigs, and also more quality materials to hold them together.
These wigs are popular among those who are obsessed with having full hair, particularly younger wearers who enjoy experimenting with full wigs whether or not they naturally have full hair.

II. Is 180 Density Good for A Wig?
Yes, 180 is a good wig density and it is great for people with strong and fine hair.
Although it looks so full that people can probably tell that it is not your natural hair, it is beautiful and stylish enough that it won’t matter to you.
Additionally, you may achieve the most natural look by utilizing 180 density wigs on long hair so that it spreads throughout the length of your hair rather than sitting just on top of the head or on one side of your head.
A lace wig cap is the ideal base material for a 180 density wig since it holds the full hair appropriately and lengthens its lifespan.
III. 180 Vs 150 Density Wig
Primarily, the difference between 150 and 180 density wigs includes the difference in appearance, fullness, and cost.
While 150 density wigs deliver wig wearers with natural hair with added fullness, movement, and slight weight, 180 density wigs are heavier and offer a full and voluminous hair appearance.
150 density wigs are medium/heavy hair density wigs that look thicker than the natural hair, and can sometimes be obvious that it isn’t natural.
For those who want daily wigs, 180 density wigs are less popular because they have heavier densities. Most times, performers, actors, hair models, and people who want to embrace opulent hairstyles are the people who choose 180 density wigs over 150 wigs.
Additionally, wigs with a density of 150 are more comfortable on the head than wigs with a density of 180, particularly if you plan to move around or participate in activities like jogging and swimming.
A comparison of the weights of 180 and 150 density wigs is done in the table below, so you can see how the weights change depending on the hair length.

IV. 180 Vs 130 Density Wig
The fullness, weight, and price of these wigs reflect the significant density difference between 180 and 130 density wigs.
For women, 130 density wigs are the most popular, whereas 180 density wigs are typically reserved for special occasions.
While wigs with 130 density can be worn with both short and long hair, wigs with 180 density can look and feel excessively full on short hair, therefore the additional length is required to distribute the density evenly throughout the hair.
As opposed to 130 density wigs, which are ideal for wig lengths between 12 and 14 inches but may not be as full when used to create longer wigs, 180 density wigs are best suited for wigs between 16 and 24 inches.
Additionally, 180 wigs cost more than 130 density wigs.
Even if the length of 180 & 130 density wigs is the same, the weight between the two may vary. This table displays it effectively.

V. 180 Vs 100 Density Wig
100 and 180 density wigs are on different levels of fullness. For instance, while 100 density wigs are on the lightest level of wigs, 180 density wigs are on the heavier end.
While 180 wigs are voluminous and thick and provide a complete look that natural hair can scarcely replicate, 100 density wigs create a natural look that is similar to actual hair.
Compared to 180 density wigs, which are frequently thicker and worn for important occasions, 100 density wigs are more commonly worn casually.
When compared to 180 density wigs, 100 density wigs are significantly less expensive.
The table below compares the weight of 180 density wigs by inches to that of 100 density wigs by the same inches.
